Alexandre Régent

Alexandre has been painting for nearly ten years. He has taken part in numerous exhibitions in France and Europe, and won a first prize from the jury at the international painting festival in France. 

Initially, his art consisted of organising organic forms and psychedelic ornamentation with an influence from modern art in more or less spatial settings. 

In his residency at Kunstraum Heartspace, Alexandre explores further an emerging theme in his art: "For the last year, I have been living in Berlin that made me increasingly sensitive to architecture, volume and perspective. I'd like to highlight this in more dreamlike, metaphysical landscapes."
